Following the new trend of Intel Atom processor, Shuttle presented its latest mini PC wonder, the KPC K58, during Computex 2008. Being the successor of KPC (Korporate Perfect Cube) K45, this compact cubic-shaped computer targetted the same market — people whose looking for a small multimedia PC or a secondary household-purpose PC. Showcased during Computex 2008, Gigabyte M912 Netbook sports an 8.9-inch touchscreen display that can be rotated 180 degrees just like a tablet PC. For the storage, it uses a traditional 250GB HDD, but customers can opt-in for a Solid State Disk (up to 4GB) if they prefer. Furthermore, weighs at just 1.2kg, the mini notebook is also equipped with an ExpressCard slot, an integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam, and either Windows Vista or Linux operating system.

Toshiba has just updated its Qosmio portfolio with three new models: the Qosmio G55, Qosmio X305, and Qosmio F55 laptops. Let’s check them out one by one.

The Qosmio G55 is the world’s first notebook that incorporates a parallel media co-processor based on the revolutionary Cell Processor technology. It comes with an 18.4-inch TruBrite widescreen display along with an up to 500GB of hard disk.

Moving to the Qosmio X305, this 17.1-inch TruBrite Widescreen laptop sports a 2GB of DDR3 RAM, a 1GB nVidia GeForce 9800 GTX graphics engine, and up to 400GB of HDD (the default specs is 160GB of HDD + 64GB of SSD).

Finally, Toshiba Qosmio F55 boasts a 15.4-inch TruBrite Widescreen LCD, an nVidia GeForce 9700 GTS graphics card, and a built-in GPS functionalities. Moreover, all of these three notebook PCs come with a HDMI interface, eSATA port, and Harman Kardon speakers with built-in subwoofers.
